Due to the devastating impact Covid-19 has had on the restaurant industry, The MICHELIN Guide decided to pause their traditional announcements of Plates, Bib Gourmands and Stars in California. Though new selections were not announced, The MICHELIN Guide did not want new and inspiring talent to go unrecognized.
The MICHELIN Guide ‘Family Meal’ provided MICHELIN’s global chef network with a platform to come together and address some of the most pressing and consequential issues their profession is facing today. Press, restaurateurs, and food lovers from around the world were invited to grab a seat at the virtual table for an evening of cooking and conversation highlighting support, sustainability, innovation and the future of the industry at large.
